It has been a busy couple of months since the last Girly Girl Cruise.  I have had almost back to back trips and have slacked on writing this blog.  My apologies!

The 2012 Girly Girl Cruise was the best  yet!  We had a ton of fun laughing, drinking, dancing and just enjoying time with the girls.  The Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas was a great venue for us.  From the Platinum theater to Vintages Wine Bar to The Catacombs Dance Club…a good time was had by all.  The service and crew were amazing.

We did have a few “firsts” that happened on the cruise thanks to Amanda and Aime!  Thanks for the laughs.  We will continue the theme of “firsts” in 2013 as we have two special getaways!  Our first getaway will be a cruise on the beautiful Celebrity Millennium and the second will be our first ever land trip to magnificient Napa Valley, California.  There is no excuse to join us for one or both of these fantastic trips.  I have spaced them out to help accommodate everyone’s busy schedule.  You will definitely realize that you need to get away twice a year in order to rejuvinate yourself, destress yourself and have a great time with friends (new and old).

I love to travel with my girlfriends for many reasons.  For instance, I have friends all over the country, we don’t always get to see each other.  A cruise is the perfect way to convince a friend to see you.  Wouldn’t you go visit a friend on a cruise?  Other reasons for me include:

• Not having any obligations to my husband or daughter
• Not having to cook or clean
• Letting my hair down with friends that will join in on the fun
• Laughing, laughing, laughing
• Having all-nighters with friends
• Visiting new places

As you know, the Girly Girl Travel 2012 Cruise is on the wonderful Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas.  However, did you know that she just came out of dry dock where she received some great improvements.  Get ready to sit by the pool and watch a movie on the new large screen TV or visit the fabulous Cupcake Cupboard like on the Oasis and Allure of the Seas.  Click here to read about all the improvements.  I can’t wait…can you?

March 8th…International Women’s Day.  What are you doing today to celebrate?  Take time for yourself, visit a friend and have some good women time.  Today, I am going to a Women’s Networking event where I hope to meet a lot of interesting and talented business women.

What will I be doing on International Women’s Day 2012?  That’s easy!  I will be leaving on the Girly Girl Cruise 2012!  That’s right.  We leave on March 8th.  What a way to celebrate the day.  Will you be there?  Will you sail away with us?  I know it is 365 days away but time flies…after all, it is already March.  Can you believe that?  So, get off those beautiful you know whats and sign up for the GGC2012.  Cabins are already being reserved.  Don’t be left behind when the ship sails!

The 2011 Girly Girl Cruise is officially over.  It is hard to believe.  We all had an amazing time.  I had the opportunity to make new friends as well as hang out with old friends.  My cheeks and sides were hurting throughout the cruise due to the amount of laughter that was shared.  We walked around

Key West, took in the sites and took pictures.  We visited Carlos’ n Charlie’s in Cozumel and experienced great new drinks…Dirty Monkey is one you must try.  While on the ship, everyone participated in the Sail Away Party, the Scavenger Hunt, the onboard shows and entertainment, the Farewell Cocktail Party and of course, getting lots and lots of sun.  I was even able to secure a private Bridge Tour with the Captain of the ship.  It was a great surprise that was enjoyed by all.

Next year, we will be on the Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas.  There will be rock climbing and the flow rider to name a few of my favorite things.  Information on 2012 Girly Girl Cruise will be up shortly.
